What is Synqin?

Synqin keeps your files in sync across your devices and lets you share them by link or QR code. It is built to be private: your files are encrypted on your device before they are stored.

Is Synqin end-to-end encrypted?

Yes. Files are encrypted on your device before they leave it, and the keys to read them stay on your devices. Synqin is designed so that our servers store your content encrypted and cannot read it.

Do the people I share with need an account?

To receive a file you have shared by link or QR code, no account is required. To sync your own files and manage sharing, you sign in to Synqin.

What happens if I lose a device?

You can set up Synqin on a new device and remove devices you no longer use. Synqin includes a recovery option so you can restore access, and your content stays encrypted throughout.

Which devices are supported?

Synqin runs in your browser today at app.synqin.com. Desktop and mobile apps are on the way, built from the same core so the experience stays consistent.

What is the difference between personal and workspace sharing?

Your personal space is just yours. A workspace is a shared space for a group of people, so the right files are available to the right people.

How much does Synqin cost?

Synqin is free to start. Paid plans add more storage and larger transfers, with final pricing set at launch. See the pricing page for how the plans compare.

Can Synqin read my files?

No. Synqin is designed around end-to-end encryption, so your files are stored encrypted and only your devices hold the keys to read them.
