How it works
Synqin is designed so that your content is protected from the moment it leaves your device. The goal is simple: you keep control of your files, and Synqin keeps them in sync without being able to read them.
Encryption on your device
Files are encrypted on your device before they are uploaded. The keys used to encrypt and decrypt your content are derived on your devices, not handed to a server.
Zero-knowledge storage
Synqin is built so that stored content remains encrypted and is not readable by our servers. What is stored is designed to be useless without the keys that stay with you.
Recovery
Synqin includes a recovery option so you can restore access from a new device if you need to. Recovery is designed to keep your content encrypted throughout the process.
